LeagueMinder collects and treats as personal information your name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, social security number, and in the case of students, your school, grade, student identification number, and date of birth. We use this information to establish student eligibility for participation in a sport, to contact and employ officials for sporting events, to respond to your questions and requests, and to contact you via mail, or e-mail or phone to inform you of schedule changes, new services, or promotions we may offer, or to acquire additional information required to process or complete your registration. We will not provide any of this information to any third party without your permission, except as necessary to manage LeagueMinder's interactive scheduling programs, or as compelled by law, court order or other judicial process.

LeagueMinder also collects information through the use of "cookies." A cookie is a set of data that a website server stores on your computer when you use it to visit the website. Our cookies enable LeagueMinder to recognize your computer and to "remember" your entries from one page to the next. Our cookies store information such as your full name, date of birth, school name, league name, and state of residence. Cookies stored on your computer when you visit our website are encrypted so that they cannot be easily read by anyone other than LeagueMinder. Your browser or other software you install may permit you to restrict the use of cookies. Unless you elect to permit the use of cookies, you will not be able to use our website.

In addition, LeagueMinder identifies several other pieces of information specific to your computer. Access to Information

LeagueMinder's current subscribers fall into five categories: (1) athletic directors; (2) students; (3) chairpersons; (4) assignors; and (5)officials. All five categories of subscribers have access to the game schedules of the leagues in which they participate, but their level of access to other information varies.

Athletic directors have unlimited access to the information supplied by the students in their school, but no access to the information of students from other schools other than team rosters of names.

Students have editable access to their own eligibility and personal information, but no student has access to another student's eligibility or personal information.

Officials and assignors do not have access to the eligibility or personal information of students.

Disclosure of Aggregate Information

LeagueMinder may provide to advertisers or prospective advertisers certain demographic statistics about our users, including age groups, occupations, sales, traffic patterns, and such technical information as Internet protocol addresses, computer operating systems, browser types, and the addresses of any referring websites. Any data provided to advertisers or prospective advertisers will be provided only in aggregate form, and will not include any of the information LeagueMinder treats as personal.

Security and Unintentional Disclosure

You should be aware that there are always risks associated with providing personal data, whether in person, by phone or over the Internet. While no system of technology is completely secure, tamper-resistant or "hacker-proof," LeagueMinder has taken the following measures to minimize and prevent unauthorized access to and improper use of your personal information. LeagueMinder's servers are protected by a state-of-the-art firewall security appliance, and are housed in a highly secure data center with card key and fingerprint scanner access, 24 hour closed circuit TV monitoring, fire suppression system, redundant, uninterrupted power sources, and its own diesel backup generator.

Data Retention

LeagueMinder may keep your information indefinitely, but information regarding students is typically deleted before or during the school year following their graduation.

LeagueMinder does not monitor or control the contents of or the information collected by these websites and is not responsible for their content or usage of information collected. The treatment of user data by the operators of third party websites may be different from ours.
